Wakeboarding is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water behind a boat or Cable System . It was developed through a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques. You will be towed behind a boat; typically at speeds of 18-24 miles per hour (29-38 km/h), depending on water conditions, rider's weight, board size and most importantly, the rider's personal preference. One of the best known wakeboarders is Trevin Vass. He has made up many of the tricks you see now on television and in competitions. Using edging techniques, you will can move outside of the wake or cut rapidly in toward the wake. You could also perform jumps by hitting the wake and launching yourself into the air, be sure it will really be an amazing experience!

If you prefer to relax all day long at Wakeboard camp, you can find a beach and lay down on the sand or on the deck chair and waiting for best moment to wakeboard or have a very good time with tubes just in case you want to have fun and wakesurf too.

Nicole, the owner of Wakeboard school, will await you at the camp in Moltrasio, easily reachable by ferry boats from the Como direction which stops at Moltrasio, very close to the camp.
